Signing of a Teaching Chair
ensIIE and CEA DAM have formalized the creation of the teaching chair “Advanced and Emerging Technologies for Digital Sovereignty.”

This chair, signed by MAXIME TRUFFIER – Deputy Director of CEA DAM-Île-de-France (on behalf of its Director Jean-Philippe VERGER) and Imed Boughzala – Director of ensIIE, marks an important milestone in this strong partnership: an HPC/AI (High-Performance Computing and Big Data) program, the hosting of interns and PhD students, a 2022–2026 academic agreement, and the active involvement of CEA on the ensIIE Board of Directors with Laurence Bonnet – Vice President.
This first teaching chair on Digital Sovereignty at ensIIE includes:
The CIDM engineering track and the new Specialized Master’s degree “AI for Complex Systems,” accredited by the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE);
Live sessions led by our engineering students alongside faculty members and guests from our ecosystem;
An annual hackathon dedicated to Digital Sovereignty;
The Junior Digital Academy, aimed at middle school students in the region for an introduction and discovery of engineering studies.
The objective: to train a new generation of engineers on strategic issues – High-Performance Computing, AI, Big Data, and Cybersecurity – while integrating the imperatives of sovereignty, technological independence, and digital sustainability.
