THE ENSIIE ENGINEERING PROGRAM OFFERS :
A Curriculum Spanning 1+4 Semesters
The program consists of a preparatory internship in a work-study format, followed by two years of alternating study and work. It is divided into five semesters.
Courses are organized into Teaching Units (TUs), each comprising one or more modules focused on a specific thematic area.
The first semester is a preparatory internship designed primarily to reinforce the learner's foundational knowledge, providing the necessary prerequisites for the program. This internship is optional.
The next three semesters form the core curriculum of the ENSIIE engineering program. They aim to establish a solid theoretical and scientific foundation upon which learners can build their engineering training and career projects. During this period, learners acquire fundamental concepts in mathematics and computer science and are introduced to economics, management, and law.
The final semester takes place entirely in a company.
Each semester of the first four semesters awards 20 ECTS credits through TUs.
A Short Work-Study Alternation
The work-study model at ENSIIE follows a short cycle: 2 days-3 days. In practice:
2 days in the company, 3 days at ENSIIE, followed by
2 days at ENSIIE, 3 days in the company.
During their time in the company, learners undertake projects focused on the triad of "Mathematics, Computer Science, and Engineering Science," complementing their academic education with substantial professional experience and developing expertise in one or more fields.
The fifth and final semester is entirely dedicated to a company-based end-of-study project, which assesses the learner's ability to carry out engineering tasks independently.
Work experience during the first four semesters is recognized at ENSIIE, with 10 ECTS credits awarded per semester. The final semester awards 30 ECTS credits.
Combined Programs and Dual Degrees
In parallel with their ENSIIE training, learners may :
Undertake assignments in companies abroad.
Participate in the "Entrepreneurial Projects Challenge."
