BAKANIM' 2026

There Bakanim' was born from the passion for Japanese culture on the part of the student association "Bakaclub", a small Japanese culture club at the ensIIE engineering school. Its objective is to create a privileged meeting space between artists and an audience of enthusiasts.

They wanted a convention on a human scale, where conviviality and accessibility take precedence over simple consumption. Every year for more than 10 years, volunteers have strived to organize an ever more ambitious and welcoming edition.

It is thanks to these same volunteers, and thanks to the cooperation of the school administration, that they manage to maintain such advantageous entry/exhibition prices.

During the Bakanim', students are not just organizers. The staff makes rounds throughout the event to answer any questions or take action in the event of a problem. 

They also run various food stalls: 

• a refreshment bar and a stand selling savory Japanese food on the ground floor. 

• On the first floor, you will find a "Maid Cafe" which offers sweet food. 

Every year, visitors can enjoy on-site catering at reduced prices thanks to volunteers.
