Testimony of Elodie Bouziat (next)
The integration was truly a magical moment during which I had the chance to meet many people from all walks of life. I really felt welcome at the school. It was also much less pressure than in preparatory classes, and that was a relief. Then, I have very fond memories of my final year project in JIN, during which I collaborated with other students I’m still in contact with today. Together, we created a game that I am still very proud of. Finally, I had the opportunity to do a language immersion program in Japan to improve my Japanese, which was one of the best experiences of my life.
On a daily basis, life at school was structured around classes, homework, and student life. The courses were interesting and varied, and the funnel-structured curriculum (common core, followed by specialization choices, then a focus in the third year) allowed for teaching tailored to different student profiles. The workload, in my opinion, was reasonable and left students time to explore various associations, which helped develop other skills or simply unwind. The administrative and teaching staff were kind and supportive.
My motto : Give a man a fish, and he will eat for a day. Teach him to fish, and he will eat for a lifetime.
