Blockchain technology intersects various fields, including cryptography, game theory, and economics. Yet, at its core, blockchain is fundamentally a distributed systems object. In this seminar, we will delve into the fundamentals of distributed systems, analyze blockchain as a distributed system object, and uncover the key principles that underpin its design and functionality.

Biographie : 

Antonella Del Pozzo is a research engineer at CEA LIST in France. Her expertise spans distributed systems, fault tolerance, and blockchain technologies. She has contributed to the Tezos Blockchain consensus algorithm (Tenderbake), Fantastyc (a platform for secure federated learning), and has collaborated with various startups on research projects.
