Testimony of Anthony Barbier (next)
First and foremost, I remember the associative world at ENSIIE, to which I contributed a lot, by organizing major events (such as the Japanese convention Bakanim’, LAN parties, etc.) and social gatherings (cooking, activities), which allowed me to put into practice the project management and leadership lessons from the school. I also appreciated the opportunity to avoid specializing and instead explore a variety of areas within computer science (development, security, virtual reality and video games, artificial intelligence, etc.). This has allowed me to develop a broad understanding of the field of computer science.
After my final-year internship, I decided to pursue a career in the public sector. To do this, I spent a year preparing for the administrative competitive exams for Category A of the local civil service, with the aim of passing the territorial attaché exam. I also took the territorial engineer exam and passed both exams. I am now starting my first job as a digital project manager at the Departmental Council of Essonne.
