Since 2019, ensIIE has been deeply committed to promoting scientific studies among women to strengthen their presence in our programs. Today, women represent approximately 20,5% of our student body, a number we are determined to increase through impactful and symbolic actions.
Every year, we multiply initiatives to highlight the role of women within our school and the scientific community. On International Women’s Day, we organize memorable events, such as exhibitions showcasing portraits of women from our institution, thematic workshops or inspiring conferences with female scientists and entrepreneurs.
In 2020, we celebrated prominent female figures in science through a dynamic poster campaign and enriching networking events between female students and graduates. We also conveyed inclusive and inspiring feminist messages, fostering a collective dynamic around equality.
Due to the restrictions imposed by the pandemic in 2021, we adapted by launching online campaigns celebrating female talent in digital and computer sciences, sharing testimonials from female graduates in prestigious positions.
In subsequent years, we welcomed women leaders to our events: entrepreneurs, heads of partner companies, and politically active figures who shared their journeys with our students. Simultaneously, we strengthened our partnerships with high schools to raise awareness among young girls early in their academic orientation.
Our commitment extends beyond some initiatives. We actively support national campaigns addressing societal issues that particularly affect women, such as combating violence against women or raising awareness about breast cancer prevention.
Through these actions, we reaffirm our dedication to providing equal professional opportunities for women and men, contributing to a more equitable society. We firmly believe that issues related to the environment, health, and innovation, areas where feminine sensibility thrive, are shaping the future.
ensIIE will continue to pave the way for women to plan with ambition careers in scientific fields, because today, more than ever, women are the future of science.
